I have been teaching English in Taiwan at various institutions, cram schools and colleges, for the past 15 years. Prior to this I taught English to Tibetan Buddhist monks in India.
Specailites 專長
I enjoy teaching elementary level students and I feel excited to have become part of the teaching team of Tunghai Elementary. Together with the rest of the teachers I will work to ensure the success of the efforts of the students towards second-language acquisition.
Teaching Ideologies 教學理念
We should help the students to acquire, in a pleasant, stimulating and constructive way, the ability to communicate in English. A confident English speaker is not just someone with better professional prospects. The last couple of years have highlighted the need for international cooperation to solve the ever new and deeper world problems. Tomorrow’s graduates will be part of a world where international communication, cooperation and understanding, will be even more important than it already is for the solving of problems that we now realise no state is equipped to confront by itself.
